Oil Cans at Broadway |
Description: |
The Oil Cans - OWPDO 23, pull through the signals at CP Main as they are about to pass under Broadway before making their stop at Main Street to change crews. The lashup consists of the three engines the Oil Cans brought north, two SLO helpers and two engines from work trains. From here, the SLO crew caught a ride home and the LA crew took the train down to Dolores. |

UP 4502 |
Description: |
The Oil Cans - OWPDO 23, pull through past the site of the LA&SL freight station and Myers Team Track. Usually powered by three units, this train has seven units due to both repositioning of power and a lack of "east" facing power on the westbound. |

Oil Cans enter the Alameda Corridor |
Description: |
The Oil Cans cross the Los Angeles River, having most of their power now entered the Alameda Corridor, and moving between East Redondo and West Redondo. The LA River was moving at a speed here that is hard to tell from the picture. |
