Title: |
Amtrak SLO to LA Surfliner |
Description: |
Cabbage car #90208 comes out of the setting sun and is about to cross over Woodley with the last regular Amtrak train in California that still uses Horizon Fleet and Amfleet cars. The no trespassing gates and signs have cropped up at many (if not all) of the grade crossings through the San Fernando Valley, in reaction to the deadly Glendale accident of some years back. As an aside, the first image I ever took on this line, back in 1985, was of an Amtrak train behind an F40PH... pretty cool that it's still possible 25 years later. |
