Union Pacific officer's special behind BSA Commemorative unit 2010 passes through the Alhambra trench. This train began the day at Yuma, heading west on the old SP Sunset Route (Yuma Sub and Alhambra Sub) in the morning, and then passing "around the horn" moving from LATC (Shops) to East Yard on the River Sub. I managed to catch it again after this shot in Montebello, when it took to the Los Angeles & Salt Lake to Las Vegas (Los Angeles Sub, BNSF Cajon Sub, Cima Sub). |
