| With all sets of the Coast Starlight running more than 14 hours late, Amtrak annuled #11 in Oakland, and ran this #1014 stub train of cobbled together Amtrak California "California Locomotives" and Horizon coaches to replace the actual #14. Passengers on this train transfered to the real Starlight at Oakland. Unit 2015 was the last F59PHI purchased by Amtrak California, coming in its second order of 2001 (first order was 1994). The second order pushed the last F40PHs out of California for good. |
