SP 1273
Title:  SP 1273
Description:  Built by the Southern Pacific, for the Southern Pacific, in their Sacramento shops in 1921. Used primarily as a switch engine in the yards, #1273 nevertheless logged 1,500,000 miles during it's 35 years of service. SP designated it a Class S-12. The "S" indicated Switcher Class. S-12s were constructed in both Sac and LA. There were a total of 38 built. It was donated to Travel Town in 1957.
