Crossing the LA River on UP's San Pedro Sub |
Description: |
A Hobart switch job returns to Hobart Yard over the Union Pacific's Los Angeles River Bridge following performing a drop off at the Los Angeles Junction's A Yard. The three unit switcher had waited quite awhile for traffic to clear at Riddle. The delay caused me to get the attention of a Vernon police woman. She was actually quite friendly, just didn't undesrtand what the heck I was doing standing out there waiting. |

Hobart Switch at Riddle |
Description: |
A Hobart switch job makes the final crossing before returning to Hobart Yard. The three light engines had dropped some cars at Los Angeles Junction's A Yard and were heading back (to Commerce I believe at this point). |

Citcom Job shoving baretables |
Description: |
A BNSF Citcom Job utilizes the C-Yard Lead to get enough room to properly shove baretables into Citcom in order to build tonight's train. The six-axle genset is sharing the work with a much more interesting GP40X (sadly hidden in this view). |
