| The MP15AC had Blomberg trucks for mainline duty and a tunnel motor electric fan system which fixed a serious reliability issue on older switchers. UPY 1448 began life as Southern Pacific #2719 September of 1975, making her one of the earliest units of this model introduced August 1975. She is sitting on the Anaheim Wye in West Anaheim. Usually power for the "Anaheim Hauler" waits out the day here, but this is probably just spotted here. |
