KCS F7A (SLUG)  Contributor's Pick!       
F7A #4060 had begun life as KCS #73D when delivered in August of 1950. Later, it was renumber #90. It suffered a fire in 1977, at which time it was rebuilt as a slug and renumbered 4060. It was semi-perminantly paired with the 799 at the time of this shot. Later, it was preserved in 1991 at Decatur AR, renumbered back to 73D and painted in the Southern Belle scheme.
