A C630's last days in the Bull Ring
This unit was originally delivered to the Southern Pacific as #7812 on April of 1966, making it only 12-years old when it found its way to the Bone Yard here in August of 1978. Initially assigned to the Roseville freight pool, the disliked units were then leased out to a number of other railroads. It was rebuilt as a heavy switcher by Hardy Street in Houston in 1973.
