Where Pacific Electric box motors, interurbans, and juice jacks once ran, followed by Southern Pacific Baldwins and Cruds, with trains serving the May Company and the Wonderbread Bakery in tony Beverly Hills, there is nothing left. This location is a block west of the Nevin Station, fairly close the eastern end of the line (at least since it was part of the Pacific Electric). This scene will soon be altered completely, as the new Metro Rail Expo Line will use this ROW. |
