ATSF 347C         
The ATSF Warbonnet F set from California State Railroad Museum were among the locmotives on display at the Los Angeles Union Passenger Terminal 50th Anniversary Display on this very crowded day. These units the only known intact, genuine Santa Fe F-units and have an interesting history. F7(A) 347C was delivered 9/49 as 39C, while F3(B) 347B was delivered as 35A 1/49. The units were renumbered for lease to Amtrak as 306B and 307B respectively. They received their present numbers when returned to the Santa Fe for freight duty.
