| We are looking west along the Southern Pacific Santa Monica Branch (former Pacific Electric "Santa Monica Air Line," nee Los Angeles & Independence Railroad) just before the tracks entered Sentous Yard. The yard itself is being turned into a series of low-rise commercial buildings. The tracks should see trains again soon (bad news for that tree), as the Metro Rail Exposition Line will be built on this ROW. |
